Greetings everyone. I hope this month’s message finds you in good health.

Kell Palguta
We are now in the heart of the summer and as many of you have probably already noticed, we have more traffic from out of state vacationers and those up from the Valley trying to escape them heat.
Although at times the increase in traffic may make travel slow going, keep in mind these individuals are here to experience all of the amazing things that our area offers.
I am honored to be the Mayor of the greatest Town in all of Arizona and am pleased that we live in such an amazing community. I have been sworn in as Mayor for just over six months and although one never quite gets comfortable in the position, it is time that I roll out my “Meet the Mayor” campaign to a local grocery store, restaurant or local business.
It is crucial that I hear from all of the citizens of Prescott Valley.
If you have a comment, question or complaint, I want to hear from you.
It is my job to seek out the citizens of Prescott Valley and hear from you. You have busy lives, and I cannot expect you always to come to me. That’s why
I’m coming to you.
On August 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., I’ll be at the Fry’s Grocery Store on Glassford Hill Road. On August 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., I’ll be at Safeway on Hwy 69. Look for the Meet the Mayor banner!
Please do not forget that if you would like to be a part of the “Direct from the Mayor’s Desk” email campaign, where you will receive an email directly from me, send your request to comrel@pvaz.net and ask to be added.
If you are on Facebook you can also follow me at Mayor Kell Palguta by “liking” my page and get frequent updates as to town events and or events that I will be attending.
I wish everyone a great summer and I look forward to meeting and or talking with each and every one of you.

Hello Mayor
Thoughts today as I was driving into Prescott Valley — Why don’t we put a
“PV” on Glassford Hill…
So many cities do this and I think it would be really cool!
Q – Would you be in favor of implementing a property tax to start a Public Transit program here?
A – No
I’m not in favor of implementing a property tax to start a public transit program in PV.
