Apache Junction brings Horizon’s Earth Heart Park on Saturday, April 1 for a day packed with activities for everyone — a petting zoo, face painters, inflatables, piñatas, craft vendors, crafting, model trains, garden education, and, of course, the releasing of ladybugs.
There will also be numerous artisans and wellness vendors selling a variety of items to promote health and joyfulness, as well as food vendors, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Earth Heart Park, 625 N. Plaza in Apache Junction!
Horizon Health and Wellness is hosting an open house and invites the community to come and learn more about the primary care and behavioral health services provided at their facility. Bring your stuffed animals and have them checked out at the teddy bear clinic!
There will be free veggie and fruit samples (first come first serve).
Frontier Ace Hardware provides the ladybugs to release in the park’s community garden. Everyone is invited to help with the release at 9:30 a.m. There will be plenty of ladybugs so come anytime throughout the event.
Sponsors which make this event possible include Arizona Complete Health, Mercy Care, and Kabat’s Ace Hardware.
There will be vendors with items for purchase, however attractions, breaking of piñatas, the ladybug release, food samples and so much more are free! Complete the scavenger hunt passport and be entered into a raffle.
