The Arizona State Fair is a fall tradition. It’s concerts and farm animals, it’s carnival rides, and ridiculous deep-fried food combinations that are intriguing, disgusting, or mouth-watering and it’s back September 22-Ocotber 29, 2023.

For 139 years, the Arizona State Fair has been a gathering place for our diverse residents from the far corners of the state, to honor the past, celebrate the now, and explore the future. The Fairgrounds, established in 1905, is home to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, which opened over 50 years ago and has been visited by the likes of Elvis, Pope John Paul II, President Obama, and Cher!
The Arizona State Fair has been and continues to be an ever-evolving place of fun, food, rides, shows, and competitions every year.
Concerts and Shows
After a three-year hiatus, the popular Coliseum Concert Series at the Arizona State Fair returns this fall! Performers scheduled to take the stage at Veterans Memorial Coliseum this year include Walker Hayes, Becky G, Ne-Yo, Brothers Osborne, Violent Femmes, and Carly Pearce.

Carnival Rides
Of course, rides at the fair are a must! From the Ferris wheel to the carousel, kid-friendly rides to rides for the adventurous, the Arizona State Fair has a ride that is perfect for just about everyone. Catch a ride on the Sling Shot, the Crazy Coaster, G-Force, Tilt-a-Whirl, or the Zipper, it’s all about the fun!
Rides can be purchased with tickets ranging 4-9 tickets per ride. Thrill seekers can also purchase Unlimited Ride Wristbands inside the fairgrounds every Thursday between 12:00 pm-6:00 pm for $50. Want to get ahead in line? Purchase Fast Passes for only $30. Purchases for Unlimted Ride Wristbands and Fast Passes must be made inside the Fairgrounds. Fast Passes are available on a limited basis. The Arizona State Fair runs September 22 through October 29 and the hours are Thurs, 12:00 pm-9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday, 12:00 pm-10:00 pm, and Sun, 12:00 am-9:00 pm.
