If you’ve ever wondered what goes on during the legislative session, join the Tempe City Council for Neighborhood Day at the State Capitol on January 26, 2023.
Attendees can meet City Councilmembers, learn about Tempe’s legislative program, and get acquainted with their Arizona legislative representatives. Participants will also have time for self-guided tours after the program.
Neighborhood Day is set to take place on Thursday, Jan 26, 2023, from 8:30 am to 10;30 am at the Arizona State Senate, 1700 W. Washington St, Phoenix.
To participate be sure to RSVP to the Neighborhood Services Division by calling 480-350-8234 or by visiting tempe.gov/neighborhoods and clicking on “Neighborhood Day” in the left navigation.
If you would like email updates on bills that the City of Tempe is following at the Legislature, sign up to recieve them by selecting the “Elections and Legislative Alerts” option under the “Tempe City Hall” heading at tempe.gov/enews.
Find your state legislators and their contact information at http://www.azleg.gov/findmylegislator/. Policy changes at the state level can affect the resources, acitivites, and operations in Tempe so it’s important to stay informed.
