Experience a Tempe holiday tradition at the Petersen House the first three weekends in December. Free tours will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday.
Opening weekend on Saturday, Dec. 4 will be particularly special with holiday vendors, refreshments, music and more. The Madrigal Singers will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Hayden’s Ferry Questers will offer an Antiques and Collectible sale. Tempe History Society has Tree of Lights ornaments available for purchase to honor a loved one. Tempe History Museum will host a Pop-Up Shop featuring holiday items.
Tempe Community Arts will provide hands-on art activities and other vendors will be there with activities to enjoy. Tours are self-guided and docents will be there to provide history about the house.
Petersen House Museum is located at 1414 W. Southern Ave. The tours and hands-on activities are free and the public is welcome; donations are always appreciated.
