Christmas and New Years Closures for Lake Havasu, Bullhead, Kingman Cities

With Christmas and New Years Day around the corner, many city services close in honor of the holiday. Below is your quick reference list for all the city closures happening in Lake Havasu, Bullhead, and Kingman.

Lake Havasu City

City offices are closed on Friday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday and Friday, January 1 for the New Year’s Day holiday. Aquatic Center and Havasu Mobility services are unavailable. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however administrative offices are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Monday, December 28, following the Christmas holiday and Monday, January 4, following the New Year’s Day holiday.The Aquatic Center is open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve for morning lap swim and exercise classes until Noon. Please Note: Trash and recycling services for Friday, December 25, are collected on Saturday, December 26. And trash and recycling services for Friday, January 1, are collected on Saturday, January 2.

Bullhead City

All Bullhead City offices/departments close at Noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Our offices are closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Bullhead City Police Department lobby will also close its window but residents will have access to the phone to call 911. Roads, Animal Care and Welfare will have on-call staff during closed office hours.

BATS busses will be on their holiday schedule for the Eve’s and hours are 8 am to 3 pm and closed on the actual holiday.

Kingman City

City offices will be closed on both Friday, December 25th and Friday, January 1st in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.

Trash collection:

Christmas-Friday December 25th
There will be no residential or commercial trash service on Friday, December 25th.
Thursday & Friday customers should put their cans out one day early.

New Year’s Day – Friday, January 1st
There will be no Commercial trash service on Friday, January 1st.
Thursday & Friday customers should put their cans out one day early.

Kingman Area Regional Transit

KART will not be running on Friday, December 25th and Friday, January 1st, but will continue its regular schedule Saturday, December 26th and January 2nd.
