City of Cottonwood Reopening Offices and Facilities

Article audio is made possible by CAST11 Prescott Podcast Network. A Talking Glass Media production.

With the Stay at Home order expiration, the City of Cottonwood is reopening offices and some facilities to stay in line with Governor Ducey’s guidance. Effective Monday, May 18 at 8:00 am, City offices have reopened for employees to return to work and for visitors to conduct business.

Please keep in mind this is not a return to business as usual. Anyone wishing to do business with the City may visit the offices, but visitors are asked to follow the CDC recommendations for how to protect yourself and others. Other facilities are in stages of reopening.

Outdoor facilities are now open to the public. The fitness floor of Cottonwood Recreation Center is open for member use, but many other areas are still closed and being reassessed daily for the potential to open. The library will remain closed to visitors for the time being, but curbside pickup and online resources remain available to cardholders.

Throughout this unprecedented situation our community has exhibited a tremendous amount of patience and respect, and the City of Cottonwood wants to thank everyone out there for doing their part! Cottonwood has been fortunate to have a low infection rate, so please exercise personal responsibility while out in public to help keep our numbers low.
