The City of Cottonwood will be hosting the annual Spring Clean Up at the Cottonwood Transfer Station (1500 W. Mingus Ave.) from Sunday, June 12 through Saturday, June 18. The clean-up event will be open daily from 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
This clean-up is open to all City of Cottonwood residents at no charge who provide proof of residency with their driver’s license or utility bill.
The Cottonwood Transfer Station will remain open with normal hours and fees for all non-residents.
The following material will be accepted at the clean-up: bagged waste/refuse, residential construction debris, unbroken car batteries, furniture, mattresses, box springs, water heaters, stoves, dryers, electronics, TV’s monitors, computers, and green waste.
The items that will not be accepted include, but are not limited to, commercial construction debris, concrete, rocks, dirt, all liquids, dead animals, hazardous waste, heavy equipment tires, freon appliances, brush, rimmed tires, loose trash, car/truck tires, commercial green waste.
