Cottonwood Historic Preservation Meeting

The Cottonwood Historic Preservation Commission will be holding a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cottonwood City Council Chambers, 826 N. Main Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.

The following topics will be discussed:

  • Consideration of an application for a Landmark Certificate from Lukas Bernard to Landmark a property at 1030 N. Cactus Street. APN: 406-22-060A.
  • Consideration of an application for a Landmark Certificate from Paul and Monika Cate to Landmark a property at 1015 N. Cactus Street. APN: 406-22-042.
  • General Plan Update, Historic Residential Property Inventory, 50/50 Matching Grant, and Project Proposal for FY 2023 SHPO Grant.

All interested persons are encouraged to send comments to the Community Development Director by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. A verbal comment period will be provided during each hearing item. The Chair may impose a time limit on each speaker. The Commission will not consider written materials submitted less than three working days before the meeting.

An agenda item may be heard at the next regularly scheduled Historic Preservation Commission meeting due to the unexpected cancellation of this meeting or removal of the item from the agenda. Materials relating to the above are available for review from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Community Development Department, located at 111 North Main Street.
