This City of Cottonwood Tourism and Economic Development department is pleased to share the publication of the City’s first official Economic Development Guide. It was noted that there are several companies and business owners who have expressed interest in bringing their services into Cottonwood throughout the years. One tool that Cottonwood did not have in order to make that decision easier for those businesses was an economic development guide.
This guide serves as an essential guide to all things Cottonwood that a business needs to know in order to determine if a city will be an ideal place to be located. Information condensed in this easy-to-read format includes an economic profile, distinctive characteristics (such as the American Viticultural Area (AVA) designation and Verde Valley Wine Trail), brief history, community resources and service, and much more.
The City truly hopes the Cottonwood Economic Development Guide will help Cottonwood continue to grow and attract many new businesses into the area. If you wish to read the guide, please visit growcottonwoodaz.com to read it online or pick up a physical copy at City Hall or one of the Greater Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce offices.
If there’s any information you would like to see in future issues of the guide, your ideas are welcome. Some information was not included due to space limitations as the guide was capped at 24 pages. Cottonwood hopes to produce this publication every two years and keep the most current economic data front and center.
