The Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team fell just short of its goal when they headed to Southern California this week, as they fell 1-0 on Saturday in the Cal Pac Tournament Final. A Westcliff goal in the 32nd minute was the only tally of the contest, and the Eagles were denied its second consecutive Cal Pac Tournament championship.

Embry-Riddle will now turn its focus to the NAIA National Tournament, as they clinched an automatic bid when they won the Cal Pac Regular Season Championship. The Eagles will find out its placement in the tournament on Monday afternoon, and Varsity Field in Prescott has already been chosen as a host site for the first two rounds.
