Highlands Center Discovery Gardens Re-Open on Labor Day

On Monday, September 7, the James Family Discovery Gardens at the Highlands Center for Natural History will reopen to the public. Come celebrate the beauty and extraordinary biological diversity of the Central Highlands. The Gardens are open daily from 8 am to 4 pm. There is no charge and parking is free. Visitors are encouraged to distance and wear masks when in close proximity to others. Experience outdoor learning in a whole new light!

The James Family Discovery Gardens features Learning Circles focused on the natural history and ecological diversity of the Central Highlands, as well as a Native Play Area. Interpretive signage at each of the Learning Circles allows visitors to have a full, self-guided experience.
