Mesa City Council has voted to appoint Holly Moseley as the new Mesa City Clerk, effective Jan. 28, 2022. Moseley, who has been Mesa Deputy City Clerk for almost three years, replaces DeeAnn Mickelsen, who is retiring Jan. 27.
“It is a tremendous honor to be appointed as City Clerk in Mesa,” said Moseley. “We have a terrific staff of dedicated employees in our office who are passionate about providing very important public services for our residents and clients and I’m looking forward to the challenges of the job.”
Moseley has 15 years of municipality experience. She worked in the City Clerk’s Office in Ocoee, Florida before moving to Arizona in 2010 where she worked as a City Clerk Assistant and Deputy Clerk in Mesa, along with spending several years in the private sector. She is a Certified Elections Official and an active member of the Arizona Municipal Clerk’s Association, International Institute of Municipal Clerks and Arizona Records Management Association.
In her spare time, Moseley enjoys volunteering on committees for community events and is a current member of the Mesa Chamber Leadership Program Class of 2022. She is married with four adult children and enjoys camping, hiking and traveling with her family and friends.
