Congratulations to Maliyah for being this week’s HUSD Student of the Week!
The Humboldt Unified School District proudly nominates Maliyah!
Maliyah was chosen by her teacher and classmates as a shining example of a Liberty Traditional School Eagle. Her peers describe her as kind, caring, honest, and friendly. She always meets you with a smile and a positive attitude. She moved to Prescott Valley from Nebraska last spring and quickly overcame the challenges that come with being the new kid at an unfamiliar school. She invites others to be her friend and offers encouragement to those who need it. She loves reading, drawing, going to the park, and her mom’s cooking. She says the friendships she’s made at Liberty are her favorite part of the school. Liberty is certainly blessed that she’s a part of it.
