I-10 in Buckeye Restricted this Weekend for Special Event

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for restrictions on Interstate10 in Buckeye beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8.

The I-10 on- and off-ramps at Exit 109 (Sun Valley Parkway/Palo Verde Road) will be reduced to one lane for the 8th Annual Buckeye Marathon.

Department of Public Safety troopers will be on site to direct motorists through the special event zone from 9 a.m. to 1p.m.

Drivers are asked to use caution, obey posted speed limits, traffic control devices, and use caution around personnel, event attendees and equipment.
