The Highlands Center has moved several of its signature events ONLINE for 2020. With most of the state unable to gather in person, the Highlands Center for Natural History is bringing the community together through online experiences as we navigate the impacts of COVID-19. They are moving several Signature Events ONLINE for 2020, including the Wander the Wild auction/fundraiser, the Grow Native! Plant Sale, and the 1st Annual Prescott Plein Air Fest.

Wander the Wild An Online Auction Extravaganza!

Bidding begins: Noon, Sat. Sept. 19.  Bidding ends: 5:00 pm, Sun. Sept. 27

WANDER THE WILD is the signature annual fundraiser to benefit the Highlands Center for Natural History. Typically an in-person outdoor and indoor event, this year’s auction is an on-line extravaganza! Join us for a fun, exciting, and easy-to-use Online Auction. Prescott Plein Air Art Festival

October 1 through October 4, 2020

Over 10 professional Arizona artists will focus their artistic talents on the outdoors to celebrate diverse Prescott landscapes. Paintings will be displayed during a Reception and Sales Event at The Finn – Touchmark on October 4. Arthropalooza Week –

Fresh Air Moments

Our education staff has been creating nature and science-related videos and podcasts. Formed in 1996, the Highlands Center for Natural History is a non-profit organization developed to foster an appreciation for and knowledge of the natural wonders of the Central Arizona Highlands.
