Calling all ghosts, goblins and superheroes – get ready for the Chandler annual Halloween Spooktacular!
This fang-tastic party will take place at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza in Downtown Chandler on Friday, Oct. 27 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their cute or scary Halloween costumes and take part in holiday-themed fun throughout the park.
Halloween Spooktacular highlights include:
Catwalk Costume Parade – Show off your Halloween best in the costume parade. Attendees of all ages are encouraged to participate. No registration is required, and all walkers ages 12 and under will receive a special glow-in-the-dark souvenir. The phantasmic parade will happen twice at 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Trunk-or-Treat – Halloween isn’t Halloween without lots of candy. Spooktacular’s Trunk-or-Treat features multiple candy stations with more than 300 lbs. of sweet treats. Be sure to bring a bag to carry your haunted assortment home.
Carnival Games – Win eek-citing prizes by playing ghoulish games. Favorites include the Spooky Prize Wheel, Musical Headstones, Pumpkin Sack Races and Inflatable Axe Throwing.
Halloween Dance Party – A DJ will bring the beats that go bump in the night at this Halloween-themed dance party.
Halloween Spooktacular is presented by the City of Chandler and sponsored by Chandler Lions Club, WM, KP Elite, Semper Fi Heating and Cooling and Raising Canes.
Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza is located at 178 E. Commonwealth Avenue.
Free parking for this event is available on the east side of Arizona Avenue, including the City Hall Parking Garage (Chicago and Washington Streets), the Johnathan Parking Garage (Buffalo and Washington Streets) or the Alexander Parking Garage (Boston and Washington Streets).
