October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Governor Doug Ducey is committed to raising awareness by lighting the State Capitol dome purple as a symbol of strength and hope to survivors of domestic violence and will launch the month-long Lighting Arizona Purple campaign. We encourage all Arizonans to join the Governor in taking a stand against domestic violence by learning about the issue and by lighting their own homes purple.

Mayor Jen Miles Said, “We appreciate the support of everyone spreading awareness on this issue, and encouraging the community to participate in Light Arizona Purple through the month of October.”

Join the entire state in Lighting Arizona Purple. We encourage lighting your building purple and share your photos on social media using the hashtag #LightingAZPurple.
