MATFORCE, an anti-drug organization that educates and raises awareness about substance abuse issues, has a plentiful training schedule this Fall. With classes covering a diverse array of topics, MATFORCE hopes to continue its legacy of providing quality trainings for community members with a slight adjustment. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and recommendations, our classes are now being offered in a virtual setting.

MATFORCE Executive Director Merilee Fowler recently offered her thoughts on these changes. “I’m proud of the quality of the in-person training we have offered throughout the years. MATFORCE has built a positive reputation on these trainings. It has been a challenge to move to a virtual format while maintaining the quality that our community members have come to expect. Our staff and presenters have worked diligently to bring our virtual offerings up to the standard of in-person trainings. I’m excited that we are now offering virtual classes that cover parenting education, overdose reversal, mentoring, and more.”

Below is a listing of virtual classes being offered this Fall. Registration information is included in each description.
