Storms are expected to develop beginning around noon into early afternoon with a 90 percent chance of precipitation in the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains and 60-80 percent for other portions of Northern Arizona.

The Flash Flood Watch in place has once again been extended through to early Saturday, July 30, 2022.

Watch for lightning, gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and localized flash flooding. Avoid flood-prone areas like creeks, drainages, and low water crossings. Stay out of slot canyons.

High-risk areas (low-lying areas, near streams or riverbeds, or around burn scar areas) can prepare for monsoon storms by protecting their homes.
