Nine HUSD Schools Received 2022 Golden Plate Award

HUSD (Humboldt Unified School District) Child Nutrition program announced that nine school cafeterias received the 2022 Golden Plate Award and many have received multiple consecutive wins!

  • Bradshaw Mountain Middle School (16 years in a row)
  • Humboldt Elementary School (8 years in a row)
  • Granville Elementary School (5 years in a row)
  • Liberty Traditional School
  • Mountain View Elementary School
  • Bradshaw Mountain High School (4 years in a row)
  • Bright Futures Preschool (4 years in a row)
  • Coyote Springs Elementary School (3 years in a row)
  • Lake Valley Elementary School

260 Yavapai County food establishments have earned the 2022 Golden Plate Award. This is the eighteenth year of the award, and to be eligible, an owner or operator needed to meet three criteria:

1) Operate throughout the entire calendar year 2022 without a cited priority or priority foundation food handling violation.

2) Have an approved and implemented food safety plan.

3) Have a person in charge with an accepted and current manager-level food safety certificate throughout the year.
