Joe Witty, a champion skeet shooter, has spent nearly ten years in the world of skeet. He started shooting when he was a child and fell in love with the sport when he enrolled in an international competition.

Brian Witty, Joe’s father, is a man in love with the outdoor world and enjoys fishing and hunting. It is no surprise that his job is Director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Prescott Valley. In addition to his role in Prescott Valley, Brian is an active part of Prescott Trap and Skeet and works with children coaching them in competition skeet.

Prior to the existence of Prescott Trap and Skeet, the two were challenged with not having a skeet shooting range nearby, therefor they worked together to begin the establishment of the skeet range in Dewey, Arizona. Now the two are able to practice together when Joe is up in Prescott Valley on break from college.

Both these men have an intense passion for the world of skeet shooting, one a champion shooter, the other working to train others to improve their skills. Learning who Brian and Joe Witty are, anyone can see why these two are worthy of being considered Outdoor Greats!
