The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for alternating lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 89 north of Paulden from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, through Thursday, Oct. 21.
Motorists should expect delays of up to 30 minutes while the following restrictions are in place:
- SR 89 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between mileposts 338 and 346.
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
The closures are needed so crews can complete final striping on the pavement along SR 89 from Pittsburgh Road, north of Paulden, to Hell Canyon Bridge.
