Prescott Approves New Rates for Solid Waste Dept and Transfer Stations

At the Prescott City Council on January 24th, new rates for the Solid Waste Department and Transfer Stations were approved which will go into effect on March 1, 2023.

Prescott City Council approved new rates for transfer station, commercial and residential customer pricing starting March 1, 2023.

These new rates will take effect on March 1, 2023, for all City of Prescott Residential and Commercial customers, including the Transfer Station.

As of March 1, 2023, the new rate for Residential and Commercial Curbside Service will be $20.33 per month. There will be annual incremental increases beginning January 2024.

Transfer fees are also increasing. Starting March 1, 2023, the rate per ton will be $82.00, with a minimum load charge of $20.00.
