Prescott High Sports Recap – May 2nd

Prescott High School Athletics teams all played a hard-fought season and all came to a close with final games last week.

Prescott High School Boy’s volleyball team had two losses and a win last week. On April 26th the team lost to Deer Valley High 1-3, then on April 27th, they played Northwest Christian losing 0-3. The final game of the season was played on April 28th against Notre Dame Prep where the boys won 3-1.


The Prescott High School Baseball had two wins and a loss in their final three games of the season. On April 25th the team beat Mingus Union High School 16-6. Then on April 27th, they beat Estrella Foothills, 10-4 allowing the team to move on to play in State. On April 30th, they lost their first game in State against Walden Grove with a 1-13 final score.


The Prescott High School Softball played three games last week, winning two and losing one. On April 25th the team beat Mohave High School 24-0. Then on April 27th, the team beat Vista Grande 4-1 which moved them on to play in State on April 30th where they lost to Canyon Del Oro 1-12.

Boy’s Tennis

Prescott High School Boy’s Tennis played and lost their first match in State. On April 27th, the team played Catalina Foothills and lost 0-5.

Girl’s Tennis

The Prescott High School Girl’s Tennis team concluded their season last week in their first game in State. On April 26th, the team played Nogales High School and was defeated 4-5 which brings their season to a close.
