Prescott Men’s Basketball Signs Four

After announcing its first six roster additions earlier this year, the Yavapai College men’s basketball team is excited to announce that four more student-athletes have signed their NJCAA Letter of Intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at Yavapai College.

Kamari Braswell

Yavapai College, Men's Basketball, Roughrider Basketball, Prescott basketball

High School: Braswell graduated from Northeastern High School in 2021. As a senior, he averaged 20.1 points and four rebounds per game in the playoffs while helping lead his team to the semi-finals. During the regular season, he averaged 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game.

Personal: Braswell was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, on March 1, 2003. His hobbies include fashion and video games.

Dayton Harris

Yavapai College, Men's Basketball, Roughrider Basketball, Prescott basketball

High School: Harris graduated from Skyline High School in May of 2020. As a senior, he helped lead his team to a final-four appearance with a 27-3 record. During that season, Harris averaged 16 points, 10 assists, and three steals per game en route to earning Region Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference, and AZ Republic All-Arizona honors.

Before Yavapai: Prior to becoming a Roughrider, Harris previously attended Northern Arizona University and the College of Southern Nevada.

Personal: Harris was born in Tempe, Arizona, on January 2, 2002. His hobbies include video games, cooking, listening to music, and watching sports and movies. While at Yavapai, he plans to earn his associate’s degree.

Elisha Brown

Yavapai College, Men's Basketball, Roughrider Basketball, Prescott basketball

High School: Brown graduated from Lanham Christian School in May of 2021. During his junior season, Brown helped lead his team to a 23-7 record and state championship. During the run, he averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game en route to Honorable-Mention All-Conference, First-Team All-Tournament and State Championship MVP honors.

Personal: Brown was born in Washington D.C. on June 5, 2002. His hobbies include fishing, driving and working on cars. In the future, he plans to earn a degree in cybersecurity.

Ti Cochrane

Yavapai College, Men's Basketball, Roughrider Basketball, Prescott basketball

High School: Cochrane graduated from Phoenix Prep in May of 2021.

Personal: Cochrane was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 6, 2003. His hobbies include studying athletic development and longevity, lifting, playing chess, and listening to music. In the future, he plans to be a chiropractor.
