In order to better serve the community, the Prescott Valley Police Department Traffic Unit has implemented a new phone-in hotline specifically for traffic-related issues.
The new hotline is designed to accept calls and record voice messages from citizens regarding local speed complaints, problems that citizens observe with traffic flows, traffic-related questions, or traffic-related issues that do not require an immediate police response.
Traffic officers will monitor the line and respond to these requests in a timely manner. The line is not to be used when an emergency exists or when an immediate response from a police officer is required. Those callers will be asked to call back on 911 or the non-emergency line: (928) 772-9267.
For access, simply dial the Prescott Valley Police Department Administrative number of (928) 772-9261 and then press number “2.”
Prescott Valley Police Department can be contacted at (928) 772-9267 for non-emergencies, 911 for emergencies. Yavapai County Silent witness is 1-800-932-3232. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!
