The Town contracted with Patriot Disposal to remove the debris, for an approximate cost of $60,000. Patriot will separate any recyclable materials and then crush the remaining debris for pickup and disposal, with completion scheduled for the end of this week.

In conjunction with the annual cleanup day, the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Team Up to Clean Up. Chamber CEO Marnie Uhl said more than 200 people volunteered to help pick up trash throughout the Town, the best participation in several years. More than 35 local businesses sponsored the event, and Fire Marshall Rick Chase from Central Arizona Fire & Medical Authority barbecued lunch for the volunteers.

The Town thanks all who made this annual cleanup of the community a success for 2022.
