Prescott Valley Library Awarded LSTA Grant

The Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, has awarded a $4,000 grant, Grow and Create, to the Prescott Valley Library to start a Seed Library and host-related classes on topics such as Seed Saving and Gardening.

We are excited to share the seed library is up and running!

How it works

The Seed Library offers a variety of vegetable and herb seeds available for checkout with your library cards.

  • Check out up to three seed packets at a time, per visit. These are yours to keep.
  • There are no due dates.
  • The seeds will be automatically removed from your account.
  • Take up to 3 seed checkout cards to staff at the Information Desk to check out.

PVPL Seed Library is located inside the library on the 2nd Floor. We hope to see you there! Happy planting!
