No experience is required. They are looking to hire people of character, knowing that they can train skills. PVPD offers job security, great medical and dental plans, tuition reimbursement, and a great work/life balance. If you are not beginning and ending your day with a sense of purpose and contentment in your job, why not? Modern policing is more than what you think it is. Come see what they can offer you.

They are accepting applications for Police Officer Trainees to fill seats for our July police academy class.

The PVPD is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at our Police Department located at 7601 E. Skoog Boulevard. Our next testing is on Saturday, March 4 at 9:00 am.
