The 2023 Fall “Outdoor Edition” of the Prescott Valley Recreation Guide is being mailed to 6,000 homes and businesses this week. The quarterly print and digital recreation and events guide is published and distributed by Talking Glass Media of Prescott Valley, AZ. The publication is produced in partnership with the Town of Prescott Valley Community Services Department and the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce.
As stated in the Editor’s Letter of this edition, “If you’re a regular reader of our quarterly community publications, you’ve probably noticed a difference in both layout and size. You’ll also notice more QR Codes. Why? These helpful little QR Codes are nifty because they all you to jump to the internet on your phone to get ALL the information you are seeking. These QR Codes also let us pare down the size of our print publications so these community guides remain free to our residents. Also, printed magazines are heavy, making them costly to transport. Eventually, like all magazines, they are tossed away. This seems wasteful.
Join us in saving time, money, and most importantly, our precious resources, like water, paper, and fuel.
Scan your QR Codes and jump online with us for the latest events and community developments in Prescott Valley, Prescott, and Chino Valley.” – Guy Roginson, Executive Editor, Talking Glass Media.
