Throughout the year the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals Prescott, AZ Chapter (VAREP) commits its time to the community through events in the Prescott area. VAREP’s newest upcoming event is the Stars and Stripes Car Show in Prescott Valley this Saturday, July 9th.
Prescott Valley Town Center from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday, July 9, 2022.
The main event will be from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm.
VAREP’s mission is to increase sustainable homeownership among their veteran and military clients. Through financial literacy, education, and philanthropic avenues, VAREP supports the veteran and military family communities across Northern Arizona.
For VAREP Prescott President, Zena Krogedal, their mission to help veterans and military families hits close to home. As a refugee from the Vietnam War, Zena finds solace in VAREP’s ability to say thank you on a bigger level to all the veterans and those who have served in the United States’ military.
VAREP works within the community to not only help with veteran housing, but to support other non-profits and programs to improve lives. They have been involved with clothing and food drives, community events, and Heroes and Horses. “We have already been able to make some difference, but we want to be able to make even more of an impact for out veterans here in Prescott,” Zena says.
This year’s Stars and Stripes Car Show fundraiser is founded within the community’s love for beautiful cars and family fun. VAREP is partnering with Lamb Chevrolet for a raffled chance to win a new car up to $50,000 in value.
The public is welcome to join the festivities in the Prescott Valley Town Center from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday, July 9, 2022. The main event will be from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm. Car and vendor set up is at 8 am.
All proceeds will benefit local veteran assistance programs and homeownership efforts in Arizona.
