The City of Kingman is conducting a comprehensive quality of life survey. The mail-in survey is being delivered next week to a random selection of 2,700 residents to take part this year – 1,200 will be given the option to reply via a survey link or paper survey, and 1,500 can only reply through a survey link. The survey link is original to each household, and can only be filled out once, with a deadline of January 11, 2022. The survey will later be available to every resident through an online survey. When the online survey becomes available, we will post the link for everyone to participate.
“We’re very excited to be conducting this survey, for only the third time, after pausing last year,” says City Manager Ron Foggin. “This survey will help city team members and Council identify priorities for the community and improve the quality of life.”
For the past few weeks, the city has been working with independent consultant, National Research Center, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, to develop the survey. The instrument, known as The National Community Survey™, allows the City of Kingman to compare results and benchmark residents’ opinions against other communities across the country. We will also be able to compare results from past surveys. The survey will include questions about quality of life, important characteristics of our community, services provided by the City of Kingman, and priorities for the future.
