Travel ID Deadline Extended to 2025

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has again extended the deadline for domestic airline travelers to have a federally-compliant form of ID. The new deadline date is May 7, 2025.

City of Prescott Christmas Tree Collection

The City’s Solid Waste Division will be providing a curbside Christmas Tree collection service the week of January 9th through January 13th, 2023. The City’s collection trucks will pass through each City neighborhood one time only.

Here’s to a Goode 2022 and Great 2023

Mayor Goode goes over highlights from 2022 and what to look forward to in 2023 for the City of Prescott.

Highlights:
Welcoming new Mayor Pro Tem Brandon Montoya.
The .75% sales tax to pay down the City’s unfunded pension liability for public safety personnel ended on Dec 31.
City is searching for a new City Manager.

SRP Researches Cloud Seeding in White Mountains

Arizona has been looking to a myriad of solutions to stem its worsening drought, including cloud seeding. The Salt River Project, which delivers water and electricity to central Arizona, has formed a partnership with the White Mountain Apache Tribe to research the feasibility of ground-based cloud seeding in the White Mountains in eastern Arizona.
