In accordance with Governor Doug Ducey’s Executive Order on Monday afternoon, the Town of Prescott Valley has modified its 4th of July activities at Mountain Valley Park.

All activities such as concessions, bounce houses, beer garden, and the live band have been canceled. However, Mountain Valley Park, and all other parks in the community, will remain open, and the fireworks show will go on as planned from Mountain Valley. The public is invited to bring picnic items and coolers and enjoy the fireworks at any of these parks with appropriate social distancing. Music will be broadcast throughout Mountain Valley Park from a local radio station during the leadup to the fireworks.

The Mountain Valley Splash pool will continue to operate on its regular schedule. For the pool schedule, see www.pvaz.net and click on the Parks & Recreation page.

The fireworks display is the largest in Northern Arizona and may be viewed from almost anywhere in town. The show will go on, wind and weather permitting.
