The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department will open three extended-season pools, in addition to the four year-round pools currently open, and all splash pads today, April 1st. There is no entry fee for pools at this time, except at the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center.
Extended pool locations:
Fort Lowell Pool, 2900 N. Craycroft Road
Quincie Douglas Pool, 1563 E. 36th Street
Udall Pool, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road
*Archer Pool, an extended-season pool, will not open April 1 due to a maintenance issue. This pool will be opened near the beginning of May.
City Splash Pad Locations
Open daily from 8:00 am to sunset, April 1-October 31. There is no entry fee.
Catalina Park Splash Pad, 928 N. Fourth Ave.
Clements Splash Pad, 8155 E. Poinciana Drive
Naida Jane Baker Splash Pad, 2536 N. Castro Ave.
Palo Verde Park Splash Pad, 355 S. Mann Ave.
