Businesses are you currently hiring? Are you struggling to reach potential employees? Consider joining the Verde Valley Job Fair!
Job seekers this is your chance to shine! At the Verde Valley Job Fair, you will have the opportunity to apply for all sorts of jobs, including part-time, full-time, temporary, or even seasonal work. You will have the privilege of getting to meet with representatives from a wide array of industries.
Here are some tips to better your chances of landing that job of dreams! First of all, make sure to dress your best. First impressions are everything and they are usually made from a distance, so always look your best. For this event, we recommend wearing business professional or business casual clothing.
Your next step is to come prepared! Make sure to have your most up-to-date resume with you and have plenty of copies! Do not forget to bring a notebook and a pen, you will want to take notes while you are here. You will also want to make sure that you have a list of questions for your potential employer. Remember they want employees, now it’s your turn to interview them and discover if they are a right fit for you.
Lastly, follow up. I cannot state the importance of this step enough. When you apply with a potential employer, call them in a day or two and thank them for their time. Most importantly make sure to express your interest in building a rock-solid career within their company.
Remember the only person who can change the course of your life is you! Now get started on your new career!
The Verde Valley Job Fair will take place at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds on October 4th, 2023 from 3:30- 6 PM.
