Slight Chance Rain Showers; Otherwise Dry This Week

An upper-level trough and a cooler, less stable airmass is shifting across the state today, bringing mostly mid-level cloudiness. However, we could see some isolated light rain showers this afternoon through the overnight tonight. Little or no precipitation is expected.

For the rest of the week, mostly sunny and warmer than normal.

For next week, the long-range models are hinting to the possibility of possibly some light-moderate rain or snow on the afternoon or evening of Christmas Day, but forecasts have very low confidence this far in advance.
