The Yavapai College Athletic teams have been dormant since March but the improvements to the facilities move forward.
The Roughrider baseball fan experience has improved with the addition of 118 stadium seats to Roughrider Park. Seats and installation were made possible from donations of Roughrider Athletics boosters.
Additionally, the home of the Roughrider Softball team will be receiving a much-needed batting cage behind the centerfield fence of Bill Vallely Lower Field. This project is made possible through Roughrider Athletics boosters.
Work has begun on the Yavapai College multi-purpose field. It will be the practice field for the Roughrider soccer team but will also be used for summer camps and conferences.
