41st Olde Tyme Country Fair

It’s been 41 years since the Olde Tyme Country Fair first came to Cornville. From 10 am until 2 pm on November 19th at Oak Creek School, the field will be full of arts and craft vendors, live music, plenty of games and activities, and food for the annual fair. The fair is a fundraiser put on by Oak Creek School’s Parent Teacher Organization.

In addition to purchasing 25-cent tickets to enjoy various activities, folks will be able to purchase an all-inclusive wristband for $10 for their children. Of course, the wristband does not mean the food is free. But speaking of food, there will be plenty of lip-smacking choices Saturday from local food trucks including hot dogs, snow cones, fresh-popped kettle corn, and various baked goods. Prices vary.

Every year, the raffle is a special part of the Old Tyme Country Fair. This year, more than 40 businesses have donated items to be raffled, including lots of restaurants, museums, comedy shows, wine, golfing, train rides, concerts, and much more. Raffle tickets will be available for $1 each in the gym at the Fair.

Enjoy live music by local musician The Reverend Uncle Dan and hands-on booths from The Arizona Flywheelers, The Science Vortex, Sonoran Reptiles, The Verde Valley Imagination Library, Yavapai County Health Department, MATFORCE, Arizona Game and Fish, Gardens for Humanity, Yavapai County Master Gardeners, The Hummingbird Society, and Yavapai County Flood Control.

Also enjoy an obstacle course, a giant slide, bounce houses, a petting zoo brought to you by Harmony Acres Ranch, pony rides, face painting, a cupcake walk, make-and-take crafts, and carnival games.
