Two singer-songwriters share the stage for a night of music and storytelling.

Brian Chartrand returns to the MIM Music Theater for a hometown show with the Project. Chartrand’s musical endeavors include his original band Sweet Remains and his production show Life from Laurel Canyon, which shares the stories and songs of the legendary artists who lived in Laurel Canyon in the mid-1960s and ’70s. Backed by an incredible assembly of Phoenix musicians, Chartrand will perform songs from both projects as well as his own original material.

Will Evans has spent the past decade as the primary songwriter and frontman for the New England roots-rock outfit Barefoot Truth. After four albums and more than 50 million streams on Pandora and Spotify with Barefoot Truth, Evans embarked on his solo journey, carrying along some of the Jack Johnson-ish vibes of his earlier band. He has since released three full-length albums and traveled to the United States and Europe several times. Live, Evans uses looping pedals to layer soulful vocals, percussive beatboxing, and several instruments, including acoustic guitars, steel drums, and the didgeridoo.
