Car Seat Check - September 11, 2022

The Prescott Valley Police Department, with a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, will be hosting multiple car seat check events over the new few months.

Each car seat check will take place at the parking lot in front of Papa Murphy’s (3298 N Glassford Hill Road) and behind Starbucks (3322 N Glassford Hill Road).

Car Seat Check dates are scheduled for the following Saturdays from 9:00 am-3:00 pm:

September 11
September 18
September 25

A car seat check event allows parents and guardians to make sure their car seats are installed properly and not damaged or expired. Participants will drive through and have their child’s car seat or booster seat inspected by two trained car seat technicians to ensure proper installation. Staff will replace car seats that are expired or broken.

Each car seat check will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
