Country Swing is a fun dance that is an easy introduction to social dancing. It includes lots of spins and dips to get you on the dance floor and having fun after the first lesson! Learning the fundamentals and steps, not just moves is important so everyone can dance well, safely, and have fun. Whether you are a beginning dancer or an experienced dancer who wants to learn something new, country swing is for you. No partner is required to join our classes as we all dance with each other during class sessions, but it’s great if you can bring a friend to learn and practice with!
PM, text or email us to register or with any questions.
The Break Down:
Our dance classes and monthly social dances are held at the Elks Performing Arts Center at 117 E Gurley St., Prescott
We highly recommend low-heeled dance shoes or boots with suede or leather soles to avoid ankle and knee strain for all our classes. Shoes must be worn in all classes and dances, no socks, bare feet, or flip-flops are allowed in class.
It is strongly recommended that you arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts to get settled and warm up.
Pre-registration with full payment is strongly recommended as classes are limited to 22 participants. A waiting list will be created and you will be on the list for the next session first or if anyone drops.
Drop-ins are welcome with instructor approval as our classes are progressive and each class builds upon the previous class. Drop in cost is $15.00 per person. If you know you are going to miss a class we will provide make-up time for the lesson you missed. No discounts or refunds will be given after the first class.
Video recording of the end-of-lesson review is allowed but cannot be posted on social media or shared with people not registered for the class.
