Inktastic Book Club
**PLEASE NOTE: The date for this meeting is the 2nd week of November.** Most kids would be upset if their father moved them to a remote Arctic island for six months with no other people, a limited pantry, and no television. But April is excited. She loves to spend time outside in nature. As her father works, she explores the tiny Bear Island, and while there aren’t supposed to be any bears left, April isn’t so sure that’s true. Hannah Gold’s book, The Last Bear is a testament to love, the environment, and the art of saying goodbye. For youth, grades 5-6. Register online, at the Youth Desk, or call 928.777.1537. All registered members will receive a personal copy of each month’s book. Note: If your family registers more than one child for this book club, you will receive just one copy of the book. This will make the program available to more children. Presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
