Outdoors Explorers

Hike the Acker Trail Loop with the Outdoors Explorers! Miss Amy and Ranger Sean will lead explorers along the kid-friendly 1.2-mile trail, pointing out natural features and signs of wildlife. This Outdoors Explorers program meets at the Acker Park Trailhead, located at 421 S Virginia Street. Please wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a bottle of water for the hike. Grownups of all registered children are welcome to join the hike! Use Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) to learn more about the natural world. For children, ages 8-12.
