Prescott Health Fair & Community Appreciation Event

The Landings of Prescott Valley event features guest speakers, Ask a Nurse, refreshments, tours, and more!

From best-selling authors and presentations from medical experts to community tours, “Ask the Nurse” and balance evaluations— there’s something for everyone at The Landings of Prescott Valley’s free Health Fair and Community Appreciation event.

The public is invited to attend on Thursday, August 18 from 3-7 p.m. at 3500 N. Windsong Dr. Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.

Food and drinks will be provided as guests enjoy raffles and prizes, entertainment, aromatherapy, meet and greet with staff and residents, and more!

Guest speakers include:

• Myrna Marofsky, who will discuss the personal journey that inspired her to write her new memoir “To the Last Dance.” The book tells of Marofsky’s journey with her husband, Larry, who was diagnosed with dementia. It’s a love story about finding possibilities and hope in adversity.
• Dr. Linda Buscemi, who developed ELLA, the innovative non-pharmacological approach to dementia behavior interventions.
• Denise Dunker, from the Prescott Hearing Center, who will discuss the importance of Hearing Health.
