Prescott Valley Public Library Presents: ‘The Boys in the Boat’ A Deeper Look
Prescott Valley Public Library will be offering a nine-session class on the ‘Boys in the Boat’ – A Deeper Look. This is a wonderful story of the University of Washington’s 1936 rowing team & their quest for an Olympic gold medal. The sons of loggers, shipyard workers, and farmers, these boys defeated their elite rivals first from eastern universities and then the German crew rowing for Adolf Hitler in the Olympic Games in Berlin, 1936.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: August 17th – September 14th, 2021.
Registration is required and space is limited

Once registered, you will be checked out a copy of ‘The Boys in the Boat’ if needed. For more information call 928-759-3040.
Virtual Pre-recorded presentations will be unlocked at 10:00 am but will be able to be viewed for 24 hours.
